Ms. Sayantani Sen is working on issues pertaining to Global Political Economy, Track Two Diplomacy and CBMs. She is also the Academic Coordinator of the Foundation. She won a competition organised by Delhi Policy Group and the European Union to attend workshops on ‘Durable Peace Building’ in Paris, Dublin and Belfast in 2006. Ms. Sen has a B.A in Political Science from Presidency College, Calcutta and an M .Phil in International Relations from Jadavpur University. She is currently pursuing her Doctoral degree from the Department of International Relations, Jadavpur University. Dr. Lopamudra Bandyopadhyay has a B.A. degree in Political Science from Presidency College, Kolkata, and an M.A. and Ph.D in International Relations from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Her doctoral thesis is on "The Emerging Catastrophic Terrorism: Goals, Methods and Countermeasures". She also has a Post-Graduate Certificate in Cyber Laws from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. She is presently working on programmes focusing on Terrorism , Cyber Security, Central Asia and Bhutan. Dr. Bandyopadhyay has recently been selected as a principal candidate for the Study of the United States Institute on U.S. National Security Policymaking to be hosted by the Institute for Training and Development from March 7 through April 19, 2014. Ms. Cauvery Ganapathy is working on programmes related to Energy Security and Nuclear Proliferation . She is also the Programme and Outreach Co-ordinator of the Foundation. She has a Bachelors degree in Political Science from St. Xaviers College, has completed her Masters Degree in International Relations from Jadavpur University and is currently pursuing her Doctoral work on ‘Energy Security: India’s Foreign Policy Options’, from Jadavpur University. She has worked with the National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore, on the ‘Nuclear Industry in India’. Ms. Ganpathy has been awarded the Nehru-Fulbright Doctoral Fellowship to the University of California, Berkeley under its 2014-’15 edition. She has also been awarded the D.C.Pavate Fellowship as Visiting Faculty in International Studies, Senior Member, Sidney Sussex College, University of Cambridge. Ms. Sreya Maitra Roychoudhury is an Honorary Fellow. Her work in the Foundation focuses on Africa as a region in the wider arena of International Relations. Ms. Maitra has completed her Bachelors in Political Science and Masters in International Relations from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. She was awarded the Sasakawa Young Leaders’ Fellowship (SYLFF) by the Nippon Foundation, Tokyo in 2007. She is currently a Junior Research Fellow (University Grants Commission) at the Department of International Relations, Jadavpur University. Mr.Amartya Ray is working on issues related to Pakistan and Afghanistan. He has done M.A. in International Relations from Jadavpur University and presently pursuing PhD in the same department. Prior to this assignment, he worked for Anandabazar Patrika. Ms. Anindita Basu works in the capacity of a Research Assistant at Global India Foundation. She has completed her B.A. degree in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University. In addition to interning with The Telegraph and Times of India as a journalist she has also worked with ABP Ananda as a Marketing Intern. She is currently pursuing her Masters Degree in Comparative Literature from Jadavpur University. Ms Laharee Chatterjee is a Research Assistant with Global India Foundation. She has completed her BA in Political Science and International Relations from Jadavpur University and completed her Postgraduation in Broadcast Journalism from Asian College of Journalism, Chennai. She has worked with The New Indian Express and the Bengal Post as part of the Editorial team prior to joining the Foundation.
